If you are a young man aged 18-24 who currently volunteers within the local community, apply to be part of Illawarra's Best Catch 2010. You will have access to personal and professional development opportunities including mentoring and life coaching.

We read the stories, we hear the stereotypes, but do young men in the Illawarra really offer the community anything positive?

Here at Best Catch Foundation, we believe that we can encourage young men to be assets, not liabilities. We are a not-for-profit organisation that empowers young men to be the best person they can be.

Each year we search for the regions best catches - young men who display qualities of integrity, respect and a commitment to giving back to their local community through volunteering. We profile and recognise their efforts while developing them into mentors and role models for other young men and adolescent boys.

If you know of a young man aged 18-24 years old who currently volunteers, nominate them to be part of the Illawarra's Best Catch program. There are many exclusive opportunities that the candidates will benefit from.

Get set, Illawarra's Best Catch is back and ready to celebrate it's 5th birthday. On Friday, 8th October 2010, a full room will gather at the City Beach Function Centre to celebrate the positive volunteer achievements of young men in our local region.
